Congratulations to our Taste of Missions School Challenge winners!
Grades 2-4 at Zion Lutheran School in Chesaning, Mich.
Grades 5-8 at St. Paul’s Lutheran School in Arlington, Minn.
These two classes were randomly selected to win a Taste of Missions party for their classroom. Both classes were sent Taste of Missions t-shirts and stickers, Campus Ministry sunglasses, a Mission Kit from our collection and other decorations, and funds for lunch from an ethnic restaurant and ice cream social.
The 2-4 grade class at Zion Lutheran in Chesaning, Mich., held their party on May 21. They had a Zoom call with Mike Duncan and his wife Cathy, our friendly counselor to South Asia. The 5-8 grade class at at St. Paul’s in Arlington, Minn., held their party on May 24, where Missionary Dan Witte from Zambia Zoomed in for a school assembly.
Check out photos from their parties!
If you missed out on the challenge, don’t worry… You can still use the activities! We will leave them up through the duration of Taste of Missions if you’d still like to use them in your class, Sunday School, or Vacation Bible School program.
