Taste of Missions

Rev. Jon and Kay Brohn – Christ the Rock, Farmington, N.M.

Missionary Jon and his wife Kay spent 25 years in the ministry at places like Northwestern Prep School, Christ the Lord in Houston, Tex., and Salem in Stillwater, Minn., before Jon accepted the call to serve as a home missionary at Christ the Rock in Farmington, N.M.

They have been married for 30 years. Kay currently works at Ku-Tips Nursery. They have three children. Jake is the pastor at Bethany, Gibsonia, PA, along with his wife Rachel and their children, Emma and Joel. Hannah teaches 5-6 grade at St. Paul’s, Columbus, OH. Matt is currently living with them in Farmington and is working to finish his teaching license from Martin Luther College.

Christ the Rock is a friendly, outgoing home mission congregation. Their goal is to find different ways to serve our community, to build bridges with individuals, and share the good news of Jesus’ love as much as they can.
